    Annabel Carr

    Clinical Practice Manager

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Annabel joined the team in July 2019 as one of our Registered Veterinary Nurses and has been our Clinical Practice Manager since March 2022. Her role encompasses the day to day running of the practice whilst still giving her the freedom to utilise her clinical skills. When not doing admin Annabel can usually be found in the consulting room providing anything from routine nail clips to nutritional advice. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and walking Pendle, her rescue collie. She also has a cat called Caffrey as well as a large collection of tropical fish.

    Uwe Gerecke

    Senior Veterinary Surgeon

    MRCVS

    Uwe graduated in Hanover in 1991 and worked in mixed practice and in the animal health industry in Germany and in the UK, before moving to Cornwall in 2000.

    Having settled with his family in the countryside with their cats, dogs and horses, he enjoys walks and the occasional outing in the sea. He joined Regent Court Vets in 2022 and enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine but is happiest in theatre.

    Hannah Menon

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MRCVS

    Originating from St Agnes, Hannah left to study at the Royal Veterinary College, London, qualifying in 2012. She has an interest in feline care and is our advocate for the International Society for Feline Medicine.

     

    She  has two rescue cats, Pumpkin and Eggnog, and outside work she sings in a choir, enjoys reading, sea swimming and exploring Cornwall by foot.

    Vicky Williams

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MRCVS

    Vicky qualified as a vet in 2008 and has been with the practice since 2018. She travelled the world extensively before she settled in Cornwall, and has a passion for the outdoors and water sports – sometimes even swimming into work!

    She is particularly fond of our feline patients and has a cat of her own.

    Emma Ivey

    Veterinary Surgeon

    MRCVS

    Emma graduated from Bristol University in 2003 and initially worked in mixed practice in Somerset. After moving to Cornwall, Emma has focussed on small animal work and has a special interest in veterinary acupuncture. Outside of work, Emma is a busy mum of three and a school governor. In any spare time she enjoys doing agility with her spaniel Hazel, gardening and cooking.

    Trudy Hayman

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Trudy has been a qualified veterinary nurse since 2010.

     

    She particularly enjoys being in the operating theatre and is passionate about preventative healthcare.

     

    At home she has two children with her partner and a Jack Russell called Wesley who is a real character.

    Sarah Carter

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    Sarah has been with the practice since 2014 after qualifying as a veterinary nurse in 2011.

     

    Living on a farm, she brings a wealth of experience and knowledge with working dogs and farm cats, alongside her general nurse role.

     

    Her own pets include a dog called Summer and a cat called Spirit.

    Tamsyn Casley-Oliver

    Registered Veterinary Nurse

    BSc Hons

    Tamsyn has been working in veterinary practice since 2009 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017, joining the team in 2020. She has a keen interest in rabbit care, dental clinics, and diagnostics. In addition, she is the Wellbeing champion for the practice, a mental health first aider and is the current British Veterinary Nurse Association representative for Cornwall.
    Outside of work, Tamsyn has a passion for gardening. As Chair of St Just in Bloom, she regularly fundraises and volunteers to tend local community green spaces. 
    She also enjoys walking, taking time in nature and looking after her lively house rabbit, Aero.

    Amanda Bryant

    Receptionist

    Amanda joined the team in 2019 and supports customer liaison and dispensing medication on reception, along with overseeing our practice vaccine reminders.

     

    She enjoys walks on the beach, DIY, travelling and spending time in the garden.

    Sarah Eddy

    Receptionist

    Sarah grew up on a farm on the outskirts of Penzance and has always had a love of animals. In her spare time she can either be found walking her black Labrador Bess or riding a horse! Sarah has been part of the team since May 2022, coming from a hospitality background has helped her with the front of house role.
